Clarence Winthrop Bowen

Clarence Winthrop Bowen (1852–1935) was an American author of historical essays. He was a journalist for the ''New York Herald Tribune'' in 1874. That year, he inherited ''The Independent'' from his father, and he was its publisher until 1913 when he retired. Provided by Wikipedia
