Daniel Wakelin
Daniel Leslie Wakelin, FBA (born 31 January 1977) is a British palaeographist. Currently he is the Jeremy Griffiths Professor of Medieval English Palaeography in the University of Oxford and a fellow of his St Hilda's College.Wakelin graduated from the Trinity Hall, Cambridge with a PhD in mediaeval palaeography. Previously he worked at the St Catharine's College, Cambridge and the Christ's College, Cambridge. He is a specialist in Mediaeval English literature and its circulation and reception in manuscripts and other material texts, and teaching course in English language and literature 650–1550 in the University of Oxford.
